FAMILY FRIENDLY STAFF AND ENVIRONMENT
Picture this: A patient has his first appointment at the orthodontist, yet he already knows the receptionist’s name, already understands the lay of the land, already shares inside jokes with the doctor. It happens every day at the office of Jim Watson, D.D.S., P.A. That’s because when parents bring one child to Dr. Watson for braces, they’re so satisfied with his treatment that they’re eager to bring their next child and their next. Many even become patients themselves. According to Dr. Watson, “The biggest joy in our practice is developing a relationship with entire families, getting to know them and becoming their family orthodontist”.
Another reason families who’ve had one experience at Dr. Watson’s office are so eager to return and to tell their friends about him is that Dr. Watson and his team makes orthodontic care fun. Who wants to sit in a classroom for eight hours only to realize they have to schlep to an orthodontic appointment after school? Dr. Watson’s patients don’t seem to mind.
From the time they walk into one of his three offices—nautical theme in Houston, Hollywood setting in Tomball, beach venue in Spring and a new location and theme to be announced in Cypress—they find themselves in a relaxed, family-friendly environment where the patient comes first and families are treated like old friends. “Why shouldn’t it be fun to visit the orthodontist?” Dr. Watson asked. “Our patients are the backbone of our practice. We do everything we can to make each visit enjoyable, no matter the patient’s age.”
Dr. Watson speaks fluent Spanish and served as a missionary for two years in Puerto Rico. He received his bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University then his doctorate in dental surgery from Marquette University in Wisconsin, where he was selected for a hospital-based residency at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu,
Hawaii. Then, he to attended the highly competitive Orthodontic Specialty Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania (PENN). He is a father of three and he devotes his free time to such community-minded activities as serving as Cub Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #332 and volunteering as a disc jockey at area schools and
swim team events. Even with such a sterling list of credentials, Dr. Watson says his greatest achievement is a satisfied patient. “I’m proud of the fact that most new patients come to me by referral from other patients and from area dentists,” he said. “That tells me that we must be doing something right.”
For several years, Dr. James D. Watson has been creating some of the most beautiful smiles in the Northwest Houston metropolitan area. It is a fact that, throughout the years, clients have left Dr. Watson’s office smiling like they have never smiled before.
The real story is that these clients rely on the highly refined skills of the doctor for more than just results. Dr. Watson offers the kind of certified orthodontic specialty treatment experience that puts an anxious mind at ease. A friendly chairside manner helps the client to relax. In addition, of course, the latest treatment options are provided for his clients.
One of the things that has made Dr. Watson the orthodontist of choice for so many Northwest Houston area residents is his ability to accommodate their needs. His hours can usually be scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle, so time missed from your school or work is minimized. In fact, Dr. Watson’s office offers Saturday appointments for those of you who need them. His reasonable fees, backed by affordable payment schedules, mean you can get the care you need.
It is this tradition of care that has brought so many smiling faces through his doors. This same tradition is what probably brought you here. It is this tradition of care that you will not find in just any orthodontic office — but you will find it here!
